The Second Book of Enu
In 2016, I successfully petitioned the English Department to allow me to create a 75-page graphic novel as my senior creative thesis. Such a thesis had never been approved before, and my success was reflective of the English Department's increasing respect for comics as a literary form. I titled this graphic novel The Second Book of Enu and self-published it at the Harvard Bookstore. The thesis was graded at magna plus and garnered significant praise from the English Department faculty for setting a valuable precedent for future graphic novelists to do their work under the department's umbrella. My advisor for this project was Mark Jude Poirier. Besides this project, my comics work also includes a self-published collection titled Into the Blind World.
